“Scrap Tour”: Build/Remodel with Salvaged Materials
Tour two houses in the Pontiac Trail/Wright St. area and check out their repurposed architectural features, from redwood flooring to bowling alley countertops. On hand will be John Haling, who runs a local “urban lumber” sawmill discussing the benefits and how-to’s of utilizing wood from urban areas that otherwise would be chipped, burned or landfilled.
