Join us on June 12th for a potluck and reskilling presentations at The Yellow Barn!
Arrive at 5:30-6pm for the potluck. Bring your own plates, bowls, cups and utensils, as well as a dish to pass if you can.
Right about 7pm our two workshops will start:
Cooking with Venison – Andrea Matthies
Andrea is promoting deer as a locally-harvested, lean, antibiotic-free alternative to beef—with a very small carbon footprint. Bring your appetite, she will be serving Chili. Andrea is the president of the Ann Arbor Wild Ones.
Green Drinks – Amanda Klain
Green drinks are soul food, they make your heart sing and everything good happens when you ingest fresh green foods. If dandelions to spinach, tart cherries, apples to peaches, sunflowers to hazelnuts sound like things you would like to eat more of, come check this class out; Amanda will demonstrate a couple of drinks and we will taste and experience together some exquisite bouquets of green grandeur. (Sample smoothies will be limited, so arrive early & secure your spot, if you want to insure you get samples)
Join us for these great sessions, potluck and great conversations at the Yellow Barn (map) on June 12th, from 5:30-8:30
